Under his leadership, the company tackled a number of obstacles, grew consistently throughout the 90’s, and became one of the leading medical device companies in the world. A friend of mine had a link to goodreads.com on her gmail chat away message. So I took and look and it seems to be a pretty awesome online service for the following:

1. Keeping a track of books you’ve read. That’s a plus since I forget often.
2. Take a look at what your friends are reading.
3. Get book recommendations from your friends or make recommendations to your friends.

I’ve always wanted a site to keep a track of my reading history. That’s one of the main reasons I started this blog. Goodreads.com is definitely a promising tool in the user-centric Web2.0 era.
