This title is a memoir by Sidney Poitier, the first black actor to win an Academy Award for Best Actor. He is a legend because he broke through insurmountable racial barriers to become one of the greatest actors of all time. However, I thought his book wasn’t that great. I felt like he just rambled on about different things and was rather disjointed between different parts of the book.
I was hoping to get inspired by reading this, but that didn’t happen.
