Twice a week, I take the T into the Charles MGH station for my physical therapy sessions at MGH.
Then I walk about 5 to 6 blocks in the heart of Boston
.
At the clinic, the sequence is heat, exercise, PAIN, stretch, more exercises, cold compression, numbness. After getting electrocuted and having my leg go through cryogenics, I head back towards the T station.
On the way, I’d stop by Au Bon Pon for a steamy toasted bagel. It usually hits the spot.
I usually get the jalepano cheddar bagel, but today it’s all about the french toast bagel. (Jalepano is definitely better though)
Back to the T station,
Where the stairs are a pain in the butt, with my bump knee and all.
And the ride home.
….and I lived the rest of the day happily ever after.
i like.
